From the beginning, starting as an assistant coach, Coach Keeney shared his passion for success with the wrestling program. Now 4 years later he doesn't just teach wrestlers how to win championships but how to succeed in life as a person.
Mark Krellwitz
Assistant Coach
Never letting his love for the sport die, Coach Krellwitz has been a part of the West Linn Wrestling Program for 20 years now and continues to keep the program up and running. Krellwitz says his motivation to start was because he “Just wants to give back to wrestling.”
Coach Lowry
Assistant Coach
Wrestling being such a big part of his life and who he came to be as a person, Coach Lowry says “Being a part of the development and growth of these fine young men” is what he is most proud of out of his career. Going into his third year with the program, Coach Lowry continues to work with the wrestling team on not just the development on the mats but who they are off the mats as well.
Coach Ballard
Assistant Coach
Coach Ballard has been with the Lions for 3 years now and continues to help wrestlers of all levels on how to improve and grow their technique. With his relatability as a coach the Lions were able to bring home their first championship and he was able to give back to the wrestling community and sport he loves.
Jason Buce
Assistant Coach
Coach Buce for nine years has brought a positive and significant change to the athletes in the program. Inspired by his coaches growing up, Coach Buce hopes to provide guidance to the athletes in helping them achieve their goals.
Coach Sprague
Assistant Coach
Coach Sprague, a Fargo national Coach, has volunteered at the high school for 3 years and continues to add his knowledge to the program on mindset and technical training. This well experienced coach has also coached at the middle school level for 6 years to continue to share his love for the sport.
